Trails and Tales of Boomtown, USA |
Located 20 minutes north at the railroad depot on West Third Street in Burkburnett, Texas. A guided tour recalls the days of the Oil Boom with a visit to an oil field, outdoor oil museum and a replica of Mabel Gilbert's Dugout. unfiltered access to the Internet in our computer laboratory. The Library is
dedicated to serving the needs of all the public in so far as as funds, space,
and available materials allow. The Library is open to all who seek information.
We do not limit the search for knowledge by age. Parents are encouraged to
participate in their children's learning experiences and guide them as they see
fit in the use of the Library's resources, services, and programs. |

Walkers, joggers and roller-bladers can enjoy six miles of tree-lined, landscaped trails in the northern part of the city. The trail and sidewalk start in Lucy Park, wind in front of the waterfall, then pass under I-44 and through Williams Park before following Holliday Creek to Scott Street. The six-mile South Trail stretches from Hamilton Park to Lake Wichita Park. |
